Since April of this year, Shopify has made its B2B e-commerce functionality available to all plans (Basic, Grow, Advanced, Plus). This means that even smaller businesses can use the same core wholesale features that were previously only available in Shopify Plus.
- Company profiles and multi-location accounts
Enable creation of structured B2B customer accounts. Multiple users can place orders on behalf of the same company account. - Role-based permissions (e.g., location-based ordering).
- Up to 3 B2B catalogs in Market (Basic, Grow, Advanced) – price lists, percentage-based discounts, fixed prices, quantity-based pricing. For example, up to 3 price lists for purchases within Estonia.
- Quantity-based rules for purchasing – minimums, maximums, and pricing based on these.
- Payment terms (Net 7–90), payment reminders. The customer can place an order without selecting a payment method, i.e., without paying immediately.
- Adding a PO number when placing an order.
- Easy reorders.
- Order draft → Invoice workflows.
- Trade theme and Quick Order List for B2B purchasing experience.
- Shopify Flow automations with B2B objects.
These features cover most small and medium-sized wholesale needs and enable B2B and B2C sales in one store.
